Steps to Use Freeze Panes Feature In Microsoft Excel 

  1. Open the spreadsheet with some data in columns and rows in MS excel.

2. Click View from the title bar.

3. In the View option pane, select the “Freeze Panes” feature.

4. In the Freeze Panes drop-down menu, choose an option that you like.

5. You can freeze the first two rows or columns. Select the entire third row or column and click on the Freeze Panes option.
